Social media animation created for a mother’s day promotion for Aperol accounts to use on their facebook and instagram pages.

2020 Illustration. The concept was to illustrate the divide in opinion that emerged during the pandemic.

For HomeSecure’s promotional campaign in the run up to their black friday sale I created a teaser animation, and a reveal animation for the day the sale went live. These animations were sent out in emails to all of their customers, and they were also promoted on their social media pages.

In 2015 I was approached by the band Shrug Life to design the artwork for their first release, The Grand Stretch EP. Working closely with the band and their concept, I created a series of four illustrations, each one depicting an object that references a theme or line in the lyrics of each of the four songs. The illustrations were designed to work both as stand alone pieces and combined together for the EP front cover design.

A4 double sided leaflet design for the HomeSecure sales team to distribute throughout housing estates and residences.

Redesign of MS Ireland’s print collateral including posters, booklets and leaflets utilizing the shapes from their logo as a versatile graphic device on all pieces as well as the primary brand colours.

Rebrand proposal for Temple Bar’s range of Irish whiskey preserves. The client wanted to convey a more traditional and rustic feel while emphasising the Irish aspect of the product and its ingredients. To achieve this, my approach was to use a light cream coloured background overlayed with a burlap texture to convey the comfort and warmth of homemade goods, alongside playful illustrations of rural settings and old whiskey barrels to hone in on the rustic element. The Irish Whiskey aspect of the preserves was to be championed quite prominently throughout the branding, so it was housed in an emerald green banner to contrast from the cream colour and given a bold typeface with a worn effect on it to convey the process of aging whiskey and also for a further rustic feel.

Poster animation experiment

In 2013 I done an illustration for the book 'Meath Folk Tales' written by Richard Marsh and published by The History Press. I was given the lovely freedom to choose which tale I wanted to illustrate, and as someone with an interest in the supernatural and macabre side of things I was immediately drawn to the tale of the 'Dead Coach'. As the story goes, these ghoulish stagecoaches commandeered by a headless driver and headless horses were said to appear when a death was approaching in a district or among members of a family.

The Great Electric Drive is a self-directed imagemaking project that promotes the benefits of electric cars through a quirky, humorous and fun advertising campaign series of billboards for the ESB's electric car scheme.
